Account Deletion Policy
How to delete a MANUPRIME workspace and the data in it, who can request it, how long it takes, and the small set of records we are obliged to keep.
Effective 28 August 2026
In short
An authorised administrator can request deletion at any time. Export your data first — deletion is permanent. Active systems are cleared within 30 days of confirmation and backups within a further 90. We keep only invoices and statutory records the law obliges us to keep.
This summary is for orientation only. The full text below is what applies.
1. Who can request deletion
A MANUPRIME workspace belongs to an organisation, not to an individual. A deletion request must therefore come from an authorised administrator or owner of that organisation.
If you are an individual user — an employee added to a workspace by your employer — your account is controlled by your organisation’s administrator. Ask them to remove your user account. If you want personal data about you erased and your employer will not act, raise it under our Grievance Redressal Policy and we will engage with both of you.
2. Export your data first
Deletion is permanent. Once it completes we cannot recover anything.
Before requesting it, export whatever you need to keep — masters, BOMs, stock, production and job-card history, quality records, invoices, payroll and reports — using the export tools in the product. If you want a full database export rather than report-by-report files, ask us and we will provide one.
Some of these records you are legally required to retain for years. Check what your tax, company-law and industry obligations are before you delete a system that holds them.
3. How to request deletion
To protect your organisation from a request made by somebody who should not be making it, we verify that it genuinely comes from an authorised administrator before we act. Deleting a plant’s ERP on an unverified email is not a risk we are willing to take on your behalf.
- From within the product, using the workspace deletion option in settings where it is available to your role, or
- By emailing contact@anantatechhub.com from the registered administrator address, with the subject "Account Deletion Request" and your company name.
4. What gets deleted
On a confirmed request we remove your workspace and its Customer Data from our active production systems. That includes:
- Masters — items, BOMs, routings, machines, customers, suppliers and employees.
- Transactions — work orders, job cards, stock movements, purchases, sales, dispatches and invoices.
- Quality records, inspection results, non-conformances and certificates.
- HR, attendance and payroll data.
- Attached documents, photographs and generated PDFs.
- The user accounts in that workspace, and their access history.
5. Timeline
Between confirmation and deletion the workspace is disabled rather than immediately destroyed, so that a request made in error can still be stopped. Nothing is recoverable after active deletion completes.
| Stage | When |
|---|---|
| Verification of the request | Within 3 business days |
| Confirmation and a final chance to stop | We write to the administrator before we start, and wait 7 days |
| Deletion from active production systems | Generally within 30 days of confirmation |
| Overwriting of encrypted backups | In the ordinary backup rotation, typically within a further 90 days |
| Written confirmation to you | When active deletion completes |
6. What we may retain
A small amount of data survives deletion, and only for reasons we can point to:
- Invoices, payment records and statutory accounting entries, for eight years, because Indian tax and company law requires it.
- A minimal suppression record — enough to remember that you asked not to be contacted, so we do not contact you again.
- Records of a security incident or a legal claim, where retaining them is necessary to establish, exercise or defend it.
- Aggregated, non-identifying statistics that cannot be traced back to you or your organisation.
7. Effect of deletion
- All access to the workspace ends for every user in it.
- Any active subscription is cancelled. Refunds, if any are due, follow the Refund and Cancellation Policy — deletion does not by itself create a refund entitlement.
- Integrations stop. Where you brought your own provider account, that account remains yours and you should close it separately if you no longer need it.
- The same company can open a new workspace later, but it starts empty. There is no restoring the old one.
8. Deleting only some data
You do not have to delete a whole workspace to remove a person. Individual user accounts can be deactivated or removed by your administrator at any time, and individual records can be deleted or anonymised within the product subject to the audit-trail requirements of your plan.
If you need a specific person’s personal data erased while keeping the workspace, tell us what you need and we will tell you what is possible without breaking the records you are obliged to keep.
