Going live
Four steps, and none of them start with a big bang.
The question every owner actually asks is not what it does. It is how long until it works, and what breaks meanwhile. One line live in three to four weeks, the full scope in eight to twelve — here is the honest sequence.
We map your actual process
01
Half a day, on site
We map your actual process
Your stages, your job work, your paperwork — including the parts that only exist in somebody’s head. Half a day at the plant, not a questionnaire.
We do
- Walk the floor with whoever actually runs each stage
- Note every job-work and subcontracting step, not just the ones on the org chart
- Confirm which industry template is closest, and what differs
You do
- Make the relevant people available for half a day
- Point out the workaround nobody wrote down
Masters and openings go in

Week 1–2
Masters and openings go in
Items, BOMs, routings, parties, opening stock and balances. We do the loading; you check the numbers you already know.
We do
- Load items, BOMs, routings and party masters from what you already have
- Bring in opening stock, balances and open orders
You do
- Confirm the numbers against what you already know to be true
- Flag anything that looks off before it goes live
One line runs live
03
Week 3–4
One line runs live
Production and stock on a single line first, alongside whatever you use today. Nobody bets the plant on week one.
We do
- Configure one line end to end and sit with the operators on day one
- Run it in parallel with your current method
You do
- Enter alongside your existing process for as long as it takes to trust the numbers
The rest follows, then the books
04
Week 5–12
The rest follows, then the books
Quality, costing and payroll switch on once the floor is entering cleanly. Finance goes last, because it needs the first three to be true.
We do
- Switch on quality, costing and payroll module by module
- Cut over finance once production and stock are trusted
You do
- Decide, with us, when each module is ready to go live
Week three
What “one line live” actually looks like.
Not a pilot in a sandbox — real job cards on a real line, running beside whatever you use today until the two agree for a full week.

Questions
The three questions everyone asks first.
How long until it is actually running?
One line live in three to four weeks for a single plant; the full scope in eight to twelve. That assumes somebody on your side owns the masters. ERPs do not fail on software, they fail because nobody was accountable for the item master.
Do we have to stop production to go live?
No. We start on one line, in parallel with your current method, and cut over when the numbers on both sides match for a full week.
What happens to our existing accounting system?
Most customers keep their existing accounting package — Tally, QuickBooks, Xero, whatever you run — for statutory books in year one, and let MANUPRIME run the plant. Masters and balances import; you decide later whether accounting moves across. We do not force that decision at go-live.
