Discrete / line

ERP for Garment Manufacturers

Everything is a size-colour matrix, cutting waste is decided at the marker, and end-line AQL either holds the shipment or it does not.

What goes in

Fabric, trims, accessories

What comes out

Garments by size/color

Woven shirts · Workwear & uniforms · Knitted tops

Who is it for

Not all garment manufacturers work the same way.

The template is the same; what it has to answer for is not. Find the one that sounds like you — if none of them do, say so on the call and we will tell you honestly whether this is the right fit.

Export garment units

Style-wise costing, size ratios and buyer-wise compliance packs.

Domestic brand manufacturers

Season-wise ranges, MRP labels and returns.

CMT & job-work stitching units

Fabric received free-issue, paid per piece.

MANUPRIME AI

Ask it about this floor, in your own words.

The AI reads the same records this template creates — so on a garment manufacturer floor the questions it can actually answer are the ones you already ask at the morning meeting.

Questions it answers here

  • “Why has line efficiency moved this week?” — currently 62% in the demo data
  • “Why has dhu moved this week?” — currently 4.8 in the demo data
  • “Why has cut-to-ship ratio moved this week?” — currently 98.2% in the demo data
  • “Where is my wastage going?” — cutting waste, seconds, costed back to the batch that caused it
  • “What am I short of in the next 14 days?” — with the covering purchase order drafted for approval

And what it is not allowed to do

  • It shows its working, or it does not answer

  • It drafts. A person releases

  • It sees only what the person asking can see

Quality

What quality control looks like here.

Checks that hold a dispatch, at the frequency this trade actually inspects.

Wastage and recovery

The part generic ERPs get wrong.

Most systems can only write material off. In this trade that is the difference between a costing you believe and one you argue with.

Isometric illustration of material flowing through production stages, with recovered waste returning to stock

Rules that ship with this template

  • Cutting waste standard by marker efficiency (target 85%)
  • Seconds sold via factory outlet ledger
  • Thread & trims issued against bundle tickets

What drives your cost per unit

  • SAM-based labour cost per style
  • Fabric consumption per marker
  • Washing cost per piece

In short:Cutting waste, seconds.

Compliance

What this trade has to prove.

Configured, not bolted on afterwards — the records come out of the same transactions your floor is already entering.

Buyer compliance audits (SA8000 etc.)
Care-label & fibre-content accuracy

Questions

Questions we get asked first.

Does it handle size and colour as a matrix?

Yes. Orders, cutting, stitching and packing all work on the size-colour grid rather than forcing one item per combination into a flat list.

Can we track cutting efficiency?

Fabric issued against garments cut gives marker efficiency per lay, so a bad marker shows up the same day rather than at month-end costing.

How is AQL inspection recorded?

Inline and end-line inspections record sample size, defects and the AQL decision. A failed lot cannot be packed without a recorded re-inspection.
